WILLOW PLANT SUPPORT WORKSHOP

WEDNESDAY 30TH APRIL 2025.

£60.00 PER PERSON

1.30pm - 5.30pm. Refreshments included

In this workshop you will learn how to make an attractive  willow obelisk for climbing plants such as Clematis and Sweet peas . Over the Winter months your support can be brought indoors and festooned with fairy lights for Christmas!

This is a relaxing workshop in which you will learn : 

  • How material is prepared for weaving.

  • How to weave around the uprights 

  • Create a spiral 

  • Finish  with a decorative tie to secure.

Tools and materials are provided, however if you have a favourite pair of secateurs, please bring them along. 

Please note that all willow work requires a certain degree of flexibility, especially in the hands.
